It finally rained.

In other news, I saw a snake.

In order to get back to the room from the dining hall, you have to walk on a completely dark dirt trail (hopefully with a flashlight).  Last night, some people in front of us were shining their flashlight on.... about a 2-ft long puff adder.  These are, apparently, really dangerous and poisonous.

We walked by quickly on the other side of the path.  Nobody got bitten.

So, that seems sufficient for my snake-spotting adventures. Been there, done that, didn't get a picture.
